The successful applicant will manage a diverse caseload of non-contentious commercial property matters and be expected to deliver high-quality legal services in property-related transactions, including freehold acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasehold transactions, site acquisitions, and development. They will also handle secured lending, liaising closely with financial institutions, and have limited involvement in residential property matters. This role also includes handling business sales and purchases.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a full caseload of commercial property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, secured lending, and development projects.
  • Act for a range of clients and handle business sales and purchases.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant property law regulations while maintaining a high standard of client care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute proactively to the growth and success of the property department.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year PQE as a qualified Solicitor, with a strong background in commercial property law.
  • IT literacy and excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage own caseload independently, meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Some experience within residential conveyancing is desirable.
  • A positive, proactive, and professional approach, with confidence, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
