My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of residential and property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes for our clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting solicitors in handling residential and commercial conveyancing matters from start to completion.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and other legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, estate agents, and other third parties.
  • Conducting property searches, including land registry and local authority searches.
  • Managing post-completion tasks such as Stamp Duty submissions and registration with the Land Registry.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and updating clients regularly on the progress of their transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a paralegal in a conveyancing department (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, both residential and commercial.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
