An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancer of any experience level to join a well-established, CQS-accredited law firm in Kent. Whether you’re an experienced solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or an ambitious conveyancing professional looking to progress, this firm offers a supportive and dynamic environment to grow your career. With hybrid working options available, this role is ideal for those seeking flexibility while managing a varied conveyancing caseload.
The RoleThe successful Residential Conveyancer will:
- Manage a caseload of up to 50 residential conveyancing files (appropriate to experience level), handling all aspects from instruction to post-completion.
- Handle Sales & Purchases of Freehold and Leasehold properties, Re-mortgages, and Transfers of Equity.
- Gain or further develop exposure to New Build Transactions and Shared Ownership Schemes (desirable but not essential).
- Work efficiently with Case Management Systems and the Land Registry Portal.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
The firm welcomes applications from conveyancers at all levels, including:
- Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, CILEX professionals, or experienced conveyancers with relevant experience.
- Individuals with experience managing residential conveyancing transactions independently.
- Those with a strong client-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a high level of accuracy.
- Candidates who are IT literate and comfortable using Case Management Systems.
- Conveyancers with commercial property experience (desirable but not essential).
- Salary up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience).
