We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our clients team. The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in forecasting customer demand, developing inventory plans, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory costs.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights to improve forecast accuracy

- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment orders to meet demand requirements

- Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of products

- Identify and address any potential supply chain disruptions that may impact inventory levels

- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasting, inventory levels, and key performance indicators

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a demand planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain best practices

- Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
