Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Dartford

Salary: £55,000

Shifts: Monday to Friday Three Shift (6-2, 2-10, 10-6)

Benefits: Overtime (1.5X/2.0X) + Holiday + No Weekends + Training + Pension

The Business:

Our Client who ATA are proud to be partnered with are a major international business with multiple sites in the UK and operations around the globe. Having had this site established for nearly 10 years, they have recently been investing heavily, with a brand new CMMS system installed last year and more investment planned for the future, the site is an incredibly stable place to work for an Engineer looking for a long term role with stability and opportunities to progress.

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Following a thorough Pre Planned Maintenance system on all of the Automated Machinery on site
  • Completing any Reactive Maintenance that’s needed, responding to Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns within a timely manor and repaired to a high standard.
  • Getting involved with project work aimed at improving the efficiencies of machines
  • Working safely within Electrical Panels, Fault Finding using a Multi-Meter and following all LOTO procedures
  • Mechanically working with: Bearings, Gearboxes, Rollers, Bearings, Belts, Hydraulics,
  • Working within a team of 7 Engineers that are focused on finding the Root Cause of issues and Engineering these issues out

The Candidate:

The right candidate for this position of Maintenance Engineer will have the following:

  • Confidence working safely Electrically on Industrial Three Phase Systems
  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer on machinery in a factory setting
  • Work well within a team environment or alone
  • Experience with making improvements to machinery
  • Be able to follow a strong PPM system, ensuring that breakdowns are kept to a minimum and OEE maximised
