We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy distribution centre in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our conveyor systems.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyor systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience working on conveyor systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.
- A strong focus on health and safety practices.
- A salary of 52,000 per annum.
