The Role:
As Production Manager, you will oversee the site’s production process, ensuring timely delivery and optimal efficiency through continuous improvement practices, including Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing two shift managers and overseeing team performance to meet KPIs.
- Driving continuous improvements in production processes and operational efficiency using Lean principles to eliminate waste, improve quality, and optimise workflow.
- Ensuring on-time and on-spec delivery of products, adhering to GMP standards.
- Leading performance reviews and adjusting goals as priorities evolve.
- Identifying and mitigating risks through regular reviews and proactive actions.
- Collaborating with senior teams to maintain Health & Safety and ensure full compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in production management, preferably within FMCG manufacturing.
- A strong understanding and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Qualifications in production or health & safety management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
