Job Title: Automotive Assembler

Hours: core hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Monday to Thursday (7:00 to 16:00) and Friday (07:00 to 13:00).

Overtime: regular OT available - paid at time and a half

Location: Dartford, Kent

Benefits: 22 days annual leave (rising to maximum 27 days with service),

After probationary period, there will be a range of benefits such as eligibility to join the Company Pension Scheme, staff purchase discounts and death in service life cover.

Automotive Assembler Role

Each individual car is hand assembled by one person and their name is proudly displayed on a plaque under the bonnet.

Automotive Assembler skills and experience:

  • Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Positive 'can do’ attitude
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures
  • A great eye for detail, with high standards of workmanship
  • Build customer cars to exceptionally high quality standards
  • Learn and develop a variety of assembly techniques and skill sets
  • Maintain required build records and documentation
  • Achieve and improve targeted output levels
  • Upkeep of allocated build bay, equipment and tools (5S)
  • Adopt and follow the company’s health and safety procedures
