COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER / COMBUSTION ENGINEER:

Main Purpose:

To ensure the operation and condition of all site assets are maintained and are operating as they should and according to the requirements of the client. To attend breakdowns within the allocated response time of the contract. To fault find, repair and rectify faults accurately and within a reasonable time period.

Experience Required:

Experienced in preventive planned maintenance, diagnostics, repair, remedial works and small works on full commercial boiler plant, heating systems associated pipe work and control systems.

Qualifications Required:

  • ACS Commercial Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, COCN1 / CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1a, BMP1
  • Where required: CORT1, TPCP1, CCP1

Additional Preferred Experience:

Experienced in the service and maintenance of combustion management systems

Duties

  • To carry our all PPM checks and scheduled maintenance procedures on all site Heat plant and associated systems and services.
  • Attend 1stline reactive response within the time to any faulty assets, to diagnose and rectify the fault when possible. Advise the service desk of action taken and/or if any further action is required, such as ordering of replacement parts, or remedial works.
  • To leave all plant and equipment in a safe condition in accordance to current GAS Safe regulations
  • To ensure that all work is performed in accordance to current GAS safe regulations
  • To ensure that no hazardous or dangerous equipment is left on site and that it is transported and stored in suitable conditions
  • If quotation is required first, then to perform an evaluation of works required and to advise the service desk of works required, complete necessary paperwork to issue an accurate quotation to the client.
  • Perform remedial, upgrades, retrofits and replacements works as authorised and instructed
  • Assist with other engineers as and when required.
  • Maintain professional Interaction with the client as required
  • Complete all paperwork as required to a high standard
