Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Quality Control (QC)Specialist.This is full time and temporary position for 6 months and site based. Very interesting and varied role.
Role scope:
- In-process testing of all components within the QC Department for ELISA & LIAISON Products
- Completion of incoming goods testing
- Qualification of all biological reagents e.g. antibodies, antigens and stock conjugates
- Final integral and control release testing for Liaison
- Compilation and release of integrals, including assignment of cut off factor & programming of RF tags for assembly
- Evaluation and analysis of QC results including completion of trend reviews
- Completion of stability testing according to pre-approved plans
- Post market surveillance activities
- Support Investigations for both Internal issues and External complaints
- Compilation of in-process testing reports to send back to manufacturing
- Participate in internal/external audits
- To complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner highlighting issues to Line Manager as soon as they occur
- Comply will all Company procedures governing the role
- Liaise with various Business Stakeholders to ensure an uninterrupted supply of QC panels and other auxiliary components
- Participate and contribute to the Operational Excellence activities at the site aiming for continuous improvement
- Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation. When required and instructed by the QC manager.
Skill Requirements:
- Science based education or relevant experience
- Ability to manage time lines and prioritise workload to meet business needs
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Accurate record keeping
- Proficient IT skills
- Willing to learn new skills in order to support business needs, some training may require international travel.
