Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent.We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Technical and Validation Quality Lead. This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.Flexi time is applicable for this role.

Job Summary

The Technical and Validation Quality Lead functions as a technical quality specialist providing technical leadership, making quality decisions, providing input into validation activities and working as part of the quality assurance team taking part in the day-to-day operations of the department.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Technical leadership for the QA team.
  • Completion of all investigations and customer responses to technical, product quality, complaints.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues as they arise and making decisions on their resolution. This includes but is not limited to assessment of non-conformities, supplier issues, raw material issues.
  • Lead and manage 8D investigations for the Dartford site.
  • Communicating to customers through written or verbal methods to resolve quality issues.
  • Identifying areas the department and business can improve based on audits and quality metrics, liaising with all relevant departments and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support Field Force and customer care with technical/quality support as required.
  • Visiting customer/supplier sites as and when required to discuss quality issues and assess new systems/processes.
  • Validation and Compliance
  • Maintain and update the Site Validation Master Plan and document as required to accommodate changes at the Dartford site.
  • Creation of new, regional Project Numbers for the Dartford site.
  • Maintenance of the Validation Database during and after the lifecycle of any given project within the Oracle system
  • Support Qualification/Validation of QC and Plant based activities, Processes, Cleaning Validation and Equipment as required.
  • Reviews / Approves all (with the exception of Global Quality Assurance), validation Protocols and Reports prior to final execution and sign-off.
  • Maintains regional validation SOPs ensuring compliance to IPEC/ISO standards.
  • Maintains the periodic evaluation schedule by updating validation projects in Oracle and monitoring the Site Re-Validation Assessment within the Business Intelligence Database.

Key Requirements

  • BSc hons degree in chemistry, life sciences, food or materials science.
  • Ability to understand, scientifically, company's products, application, and performance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prepare and present technical information.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions on quality aspects of the company's products.
  • Previous experience of validation activities within a health care setting.
  • Project planning and/or excellent time and resource management skills/ prioritisation processes.
  • Proven leadership and self-development skills required. Demonstrated ability to function within a matrix organisational structure
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Limited travel required dependent on the needs of the business and the issues that arise.
