Estate Agent Sales Manager / Property Valuer - Cold Start

  • You will head a cold start Estate Agency Sales operation to help build it from the ground up. The business is already successful in the Lettings market and needs an experienced and seasoned Estate Agent to grab the bull by the horns and launch the sales arm of the business.
  • £35,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary whilst you build the pipeline
  • Once a pipeline is established, a commission package will put together and the basic salary will reduce appropriately - the package will be reshaped and will be fitting of your performance levels and achievements

Estate Agent Sales Manager / Property Valuer - Overview:

  • Our clients are a family business who are very well established within the Residential Lettings/Property Management sector within the areas of Dartford/North Kent, Greenwich, Bexley/Belvedere/South East London areas.
  • Due to a carefully planned expansion, they are now ready to expand into Residential Sales and are seeking a talented property professional who will be capable of taking the lead and beginning a structured marketing and property listing campaign in order to grow the sales business from scratch.
  • This role has the scope to develop into a Branch Management capacity should you prove you have the ability to grow the business and take it to the next level.

Estate Agent Sales Manager / Property Valuer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking the lead on building a Residential Sales department by phoning out and prospecting for new business
  • Booking in and attending market appraisals, winning instructions and building a pipeline of properties to sell
  • Uploading new instructions to the system
  • Phoning out on properties, booking viewings and negotiating offers on properties you have listed
  • Oversee a junior sales negotiator who will assist you with phoning out, viewing and general sales negotiator duties
  • Responding to emails from stakeholders, vendors, solicitors, buyers, etc…
  • Updating information within Excel Spreadsheets and Property Software
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Sourcing new business
  • Keeping a General diary of office admin
  • Emailing out the Property Database
  • Assisting with various different clients/employees coming into the office
  • Maintaining general housekeeping within the office

Estate Agent Sales Manager / Property Valuer - The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience within Estate Agency and Residential Sales, to include valuing properties and winning instructions
  • Be confident and capable of managing junior team members whilst exceeding targets
  • Be motivated to grow the business organically with the ultimate goal of building a team around them once business levels have reached a sufficient level
  • Always willing to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and working with multinational individuals
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to use various Microsoft Office programs
