What You'll Do:
Specialise in the management and execution of key highway maintenance and renewal projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee expansion joint renewals, bearing enhanced maintenance, bearing replacement, waterproofing to bridge decks, resurfacing, and parapet renewals
- Conduct testing and investigations to ensure project integrity
- Operate from our Dartford office during the day while coordinating night-time work across the network
- Make ad hoc site visits at night to ensure smooth project execution
- Lead site teams, ensuring that all operations are performed safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and budgets
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience in highway projects, particularly in maintenance and renewal
- Proven ability to manage site staff, operatives, and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a highways context
- Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating between office and site teams
- Flexibility to manage day-to-day office work with night-time site operations
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications are highly desirable
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
