Job Title:Roofer/Solar Installer (Contract Basis)
Location:Kent
Rate of Pay:250-350 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer/Solar Installer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis for our client, a leading renewables company based in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and solar panel installation, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
- Perform roofing work, including repairs and new installations
- Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations
- Conduct site assessments and prepare roofs for solar panel installation
- Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer and solar installer
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with solar panel installation processes and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus
