Fresh People are seeking Multi-Skilled Operatives to join our client based in Dartford working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves the safe and efficient movement of products and equipment across the warehouse, Ripening, and Production operations while adhering to defined processes, procedures, and Health & Safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations are carried out safely, minimising risks to yourself and others.
- Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to your manager or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
- Load and unload vehicles and storage areas following Health & Safety procedures.
- Use Microsoft D365 for receipting, moving, and dispatching products across the facility.
- Assemble products for customer orders and move stock pallets to designated storage or assembly areas.
- Replenish packaging materials and ensure operational areas are clean and tidy throughout the shift.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure waste areas are kept clean and organised.
- Conduct daily checks on Manual Handling Equipment before use
- Cooperate with supervisors and managers on all Health & Safety matters.
The Candidate
- Experience working in a warehouse or packing environment.
- Flexible approach to work with a strong team ethic.
- Attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
- Good understanding of English and excellent communication skills.
- Counterbalance and power pallet truck license preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Fresh Ware, or Microsoft D365 is an advantage.
