About the Role:

On behalf of our client, Nespresso, we are looking to recruit a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join their store team in Nottingham. This is a temporary role running through the busy Christmas period, with the possibility of extending based on performance and store requirements.

As a Retail Assistant in the Nespresso store, your key responsibility will be to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will assist customers with product selections, offering expert advice on Nespresso's coffee machines, blends, and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Welcome and assist customers, ensuring their shopping experience is positive and enjoyable.
  • Product Demonstration: Offer expert advice on Nespresso's range of coffee machines, coffee blends, and accessories, tailoring recommendations to customers' needs.
  • Sales and Upselling: Engage with customers to promote the full range of Nespresso products and upsell where appropriate.
  • Maintain Store Standards: Ensure the store is well-presented, fully stocked, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Process Transactions: Handle payments, returns, and exchanges efficiently, following company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience, ideally within a premium or luxury environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in coffee and the Nespresso brand, with a willingness to learn about the products.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak trading periods.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and shift work.
