We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance team, supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, supplier payments, and staff expenses.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve disputes.
- Produce sales invoices and monitor aged debtor arrears.
- Assist with consignment accounting, settlements, and grower payments.
- Post and reconcile credit card transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, sales summaries, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Maintain the fixed assets register and assist with audits.
- Support process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or working towards an accounting qualification (AAT).
- 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent skills).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
