Annual Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS including Outer London Allowance (£36,469 -£54,055) + TLR + £500 welcome reward
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for a permanent Head of Science to lead the team and drive excellence in Science learning and outcomes.
This role is open to aspiring and experienced Science Leaders with QTS/QTLS.Â

As a Head of Science, you will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, develop innovative teaching methods, and mentor and develop a team of talented science teachers. You’ll lead the delivery of high-quality, engaging Science education across key stages 3, 4 and 5. You’ll plan and deliver outstanding lessons and inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
The Science department uses adaptive teaching strategies and multiple representations to drive the understanding of their students.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the Science curriculum and a passion for sharing your knowledge with others. Applications from Physics or Chemistry specialists would be particularly welcomed.
