Pearson Whiffin Education are seeking a Food Teacher to fill a full-time position in an excellent Secondary School in Dartford, Kent. This role will be on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

In this Food Technology Teacher role, you will be expected to teach KS3 and KS4 and as such the school will consider Early Careers Teachers as well as Food Technology specialists. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to be original, vibrant and to put their skills into practice in this specialist academy.

In order to be considered for this Food Teacher role you must have:

  • A good understanding of Food curriculum to GCSE level
  • The ability to teach creative and exciting Food Technology lessons
  • Embrace classroom technologies
  • Manage any challenging classroom behaviour.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety processes in the classroom and have certificates to demonstrate your training in this area
  • Achieve strong academic results with willing and engaging students
