Pearson Whiffin Education are excited to recruit a History Teacher to join our school in Dartford, Kent in March 2025. We are seeking someone who can inspire students to explore the popular subject.

In order to apply for this role the following criteria must be met:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Equivalent
  • Experience of teaching History at GCSE or A-Level
  • Able to start a new teaching position in March 2025

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Understand, plan and teach the History curriculum to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Teach creative and exciting History lessons
  • Embrace classroom technologies and be able to teach across mixed ability students
  • Manage any challenging classroom behaviour
  • Achieve strong academic results with willing and engaging students

In this History Teacher role, you will be expected to teach KS3 History as well as GCSE classes in Y10 and Y11.
