- To manage the Mental Health Social Care Duty TeamTo supervise and support social workers and social care assistant on duty
- To manage the duty email and give directions to staff
- To give staff directions on screening the cases on Mosaic
- To give SAM (safeguarding adult manager) directions and record them on the client's file on case note
- To provide supervision to duty staff when required
- To give update and duty progression to the team manager and senior managers
- To attend team meetings in the office face to face twice a month.Attending SAM meeting once a monthAttending ATM and Seniors duty meeting once a monthAttending panel when duty takes any case to panelAttending managers meetingLiaising with other teams and professionals and hospitals staff.
- Demonstrable post qualification experience of working in a statutory Social Care or Health setting with adults
- Experience of managing and motivating staff including providing professional supervision and day to day management of a team
- Experience of working in partnership with Health, voluntary agencies and private providers and to contribute to the development of joint initiatives
