Role Overview:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of SEN students within our school community. You will work closely with class teachers and our SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies and ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN students, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where SEN students feel valued and encouraged.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of SEN students.
  • Help create a stimulating and safe learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic progress of all students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students is mandatory.
  • A caring and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
