Are you a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? GSL Education Kent is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Dartford. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Implement and adapt teaching strategies to support a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting lesson plans and strategies accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant SEN teaching experience.
  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the school.
