Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning challenges, including those outlined in Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment to promote student well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive holistic support.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide constructive feedback to all stakeholders.
  • Use creative approaches to inspire and motivate students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
