Soldering Production Operative

Dartford – parking on site

c.£28,000 - £30,000 (negotiable DOE)

Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.30pm 1 hour lunch

My client, a leading brand in their field, is looking for an enthusiastic Soldering Production Operative to join their team.

We are looking for someone that has Mechanical and Electrical awareness with at least some basic experience of soldering and of course, a positive can-do attitude.

As a Soldering Production Operative, you will be:

  • Performing soldering tasks on electronic components and circuit boards.
  • Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate soldering
  • Using power tools and hand tools to assemble and disassemble components
  • Following health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensuring all products meet required quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Carrying out any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Some previous experience in soldering or a related manufacturing role is essential
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong focus on precision and quality, ensuring all work meets established specifications and standards.
  • Capable of identifying and troubleshooting issues in the production process, proposing effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and strong manual dexterity
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • A strong work ethic – job hoppers need not apply!
  • A friendly, sociable personality
