Our client, are looking for a cleaning technician to work as part of a team, to assist with cleaning Laboratories and the on site restaurant and all communal areas. You must have cleaning experience and knowledge or COSHH. The pay rate is 11.86 per hour and you will be working a 37.50 hour week.
Duties will include the following:-
- Working alongside and around the laboratory technicians to keep the lab and public areas clean, including restrooms and the warehouse.
- Clean and buff floors, empty bins.
- Clean worktops, benching and sink areas.
- Assist in Prep when required. Loading and unloading glassware from dishwashers and sterilisers.
- Clear the canteen area after each meal service, maintain the coffee machine and collect deliveries for the kitchen.
- Sweep and clean the warehouse floors.
- Further duties and responsibilities as required by the business and within the ability of the post holder.
Requirements:-
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability
- Understanding of laboratory Health & Safety
- Ability to prioritise varied workload
- Must be able to work to set procedures
- A keen interest in science and/or biology would be desirable
Hours are between 9am and 5pm but you may be able to start earlier as long as you work your 37.50 hours per week.
Please note this role is located close to the Dartford Tunnel area, so you must be able to commute to this part of Dartford.
