Stride Recruitment are excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our long-standing Building Service Provider Clients in Dartford, Kent
Main Purpose:
The Supervisor will be required to make sure all engineers are completing PPM and reactive maintenance breakdowns. checks to anything from changing light fittings to moving sockets, to completing fire alarm / ahu and remedial work to full electrical or mechanical shutdowns across the hospital.
Main Accountabilities:
- To ensure all engineers complete PPM and remedial work.
- To have a ‘can do’ approach to your work ethos.
- Be able to work within a small maintenance team, consisting of a mechanical& electrical shift engineer and a semi-skilled shift engineer (plus a full day team of engineering and support staff)
What you will need for the role:
- Skills, Knowledge and Competencies required.
- Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of systems required, knowledge of building maintenance preferred, but not essential.
- Must be fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering with experience of Commercial / Hospital buildings.
- City and Guilds.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to multi-task and be methodical.
- A pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Computer literate
- CAFM Experience
