Our client is a boutique 3 star hotel, golf and spa resort in Dartmouth, South Devon, with a stunning backdrop of the rolling countryside, water features and calming Devon views. They are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join their team, serving dishes using local produce to guests in their bar and bistro.

As well as the restaurant, the hotel also caters for many weddings throughout the year, seating up to 100 guests with views across the golf course. The hotel is also popular with meetings and events for up to 200 covers.

What's involved?

As a Chef de Partie, you will be an experienced chef with a real passion for all things food! You will be confident in using fresh ingredients and be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as part of a team of 4 chefs.

As part of your development, you will manage and train any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis working with you whilst also helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus. At all times, you should ensure that both you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety, including cleanliness.

The successful candidate for this position will either be an experienced Chef de Partie or have experience as either a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a similar operation, wanting to take the next step in their career..
