Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Working with nationally recognised manufacturer, Futures are recruiting a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.
The role has been designed by the business to manage all aspects of health, safety and environment and to ensure the site mains a good level of health and safety awareness and the business is working towards net zero by 2050.

This Senior Environmental Health and Safety Manager

To advise on statutory changes in health and safety legislation
To ensure all legislative requirements are met.
Responsible for the coaching of HRS Waste water treatment
To monitor and evaluate health and safety performance against KPIs and report and communicate to group and the site.
To ensure the sites fire prevention precautions are complied with, and review fire risk assessments
To ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met
To liaise with site HR and Training Officer to ensure that operational training complies with Health and Safety legislation
To deliver and work with the site on delivering a recognised accreditations for Health and Safety / Environment
Deliver the 4P's Health and Safety process
Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
Management and investigation of environmental complaints from third parties
Management of the site overhead waste treatment
Negotiation of the environmental service agreements/contracts
Proactively develop regular SHE reports

With a proven track record in health and safety management backed up with IEMA and NEBOSH qualifications, the successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing/FMCG environment. You will need to have experience of SHE management process within a manufacturing environment and have experience with environmental management systems.

They will be able to demonstrate the ability to control budgets, communicate effectively with all areas of the business and concentrate on continuous improvement initiatives.
