Description
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining cost accounting system, documentation, and records.
- Performing month end close duties for all cost accounts.
- Coordinating physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigating cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
- Updating standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Reviewing standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Reporting on periodic variances and their causes.
- Performing cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group.
Profile
A successful management accountant should have:
- A degree or equivalent in Accounting & Finance.
- Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
