- Proactive verbal customer contact to drive additional sales, support, service packages + add on sales.
- Liase with peers to proactively discus customer sales and orders.
- Actively contact customers to sell after sale services and follow up on quotations.
- Thorough admin, reporting, written and verbal correspondence skills. Coupled with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills internally, externally and cross functionally.
- Strong planning skills to organise engineer site visits, travel, diaries.
- You will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in manufacturing engineering or an interest of working within a technical environment.
- Passionate about growing sales and growing relationships with customers.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales Account Manager, Sales and Service Co-ordinator, Account Manager, Sales Support Executive, Sales Support Coordinator or similar.
- Live within a commutable distance from Darwen. This is an on-site role.
- Ability to balance projects with strong time management skills.
- Positive attitude and manner.
- Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensuring repeat custom.
- Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
- Working with and supporting cross departmental – design, engineers, purchasing, production.
