  • Internal sales role selling a range of a manufactured outdoor canopies
  • You will be focused on selling the range of GRP door canopies
  • You will be selling into regional & national housebuilders as well as contractors focusing on the social housing sector
  • 80% of your time will be spent generating new business via outbound calling with the remaining 20% being spent on inbound queries
  • As you build a customer base of paying accounts the role responsibilities will shift towards account management
  • Prospect new leads via Glenigans, Barbour API, LinkedIn etc.
  • Full product training will be provided

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Business Development Manager - Outdoor Canopies experience with:

  • Must have construction sales experience, ideally canopies or GRP products however this is not essential
  • Ideally with a good mix of account management and telesales skills
  • Good time management skills, focused and customer service orientated
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of drive, energy, enthusiasm and self motivation
