Account Executive (Commercial Insurance)

Up to £45k basic

Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm

Friday 9am- 4.30pm

Southam Selections are currently working with a small Independent Insurance Brokers based in Darwin who a looking for an experienced Account Executive who want to be part of the growth of a small Independent Insurance Brokers. As a company they deal with Commercial, Haulage and Motor Fleet Insurance.

The Account Executive role

Duties of the Account Executive role include;

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurers
  • Report into the company Director
  • Arranging new policies, renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Preparing reports, insurance documents and presentations
  • Manage claims on behalf of your clients
  • Maintain client records and data
  • Develop a sales pipeline
  • Grow a book of business with support from an Account Handler at an agreed level
  • Identify Cross selling opportunities
  • Negotiate and market to the client’s requirements, demands and needs

You need to be passionate about contributing to the business growth plans and being a valued member of the team with opportunities to have input on the day to day matters and drive the team forward.

  • Driving Licence
  • Flexible approach to the client’s needs
  • Excellent customer service skills
