Tooling Mechanic to join a successful and longstanding aerospace manufacturing company.

Here is what you can expect to be doing:

Role Responsibilities:

  • To carry out the servicing, repairs, of mould tools within the toolroom / moulding and production environment.
  • Work alongside existing team in investigate and develop knowledge on all aspects of tool operation and servicing.
  • Provide reports where necessary on tool findings, conforming to standards.
  • Team player with IT communication and negotiations skills,
  • Close liaison with engineering, quality, and production departments where necessary, is required.
  • Demonstrated with time Management and to complete activities alongside production.
  • The role requires someone who is self-motivated with a proven history of bringing activities to closure.
  • To be able to use and understand design documentation and procedures for the aerospace market.
  • Having a good grasp of mould tooling theories would be advantageous.

A few things about you:

  • Proven suitable experience within Engineering role.
  • Experience of machining process linked to the manufacture tools.
  • Experience in handling / servicing of tools.
  • Experience of customer interface

When you are working:

4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly.

Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates of pay
