Tooling Mechanic to join a successful and longstanding aerospace manufacturing company.
Here is what you can expect to be doing:
Role Responsibilities:
- To carry out the servicing, repairs, of mould tools within the toolroom / moulding and production environment.
- Work alongside existing team in investigate and develop knowledge on all aspects of tool operation and servicing.
- Provide reports where necessary on tool findings, conforming to standards.
- Team player with IT communication and negotiations skills,
- Close liaison with engineering, quality, and production departments where necessary, is required.
- Demonstrated with time Management and to complete activities alongside production.
- The role requires someone who is self-motivated with a proven history of bringing activities to closure.
- To be able to use and understand design documentation and procedures for the aerospace market.
- Having a good grasp of mould tooling theories would be advantageous.
A few things about you:
- Proven suitable experience within Engineering role.
- Experience of machining process linked to the manufacture tools.
- Experience in handling / servicing of tools.
- Experience of customer interface
When you are working:
4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly.
Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates of pay
