Immediate Start

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retrofit Assessor to join our team. As a Retrofit Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing properties to identify areas for energy-saving retrofits.

You will work with local authorities, architects, homeowners, and contractors to provide recommendations for retrofitting measures that will improve energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance occupant comfort. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy modelling, low-carbon technologies, and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of existing properties to determine suitability for retrofitting external wall insulation
  • Liaise with Retrofit Co-ordinator, Designer and Installer
  • Ensure compliance with public procurement processes and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to assessments and retrofit projects
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones to stakeholders
  • Provide technical support to sales and installation teams as needed
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation via CRM and other software systems
  • Handle customer inquiries related to retrofit projects and provided relevant information
  • Uphold stakeholder responsibilities and ensure regulatory/accreditation requirements are met
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the efficiency and quality of retrofitting operations
  • Assist with HSE documentation and compliance requirements for retrofit projects
  • Maintain and update internal systems for auditing purposes
  • Support Directors with administrative tasks and workload management related to retrofit projects.

  • Qualification Required:
  • Accreditation as a Domestic Energy Assessor with any scheme provider (R)
  • Strong knowledge of domestic dwellings and regulations related to retrofitting and PAS 2035. (R)
  • Technically Minded - Attention to detail, Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. (R)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members. (D)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects simultaneously. (R)
  • Have a full, clean driving license; vehicle will be provided (R)
  • Used to working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
