Location – Mainly UK And Ireland, some international travel.
Salary package - £40K- 45K Basic – 50K + Vehicle of choice between car, van, pick up.
Holiday: 25 days + 8 Bank holiday’s
Stay away required, very occasional weekends.

They design and manufacture bespoke machinery sold into the food, pharmaceutical, beverage, and chemical industries.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Bias Field Service Engineer Role, to contribute more to the wider business and get involved in projects and implementation work.
Due to growth, our client is looking for a service engineer/ commission engineer to join their projects team. Our client also offers excellent training and the opportunity to progress to a Design engineer or project role is achievable. Lots of investment from the group and moving to a brand new site.
The Role
You will be involved in servicing and projects work within the business to develop an effective engineering function. You will be working at large automated facilities around the UK, Ireland, and some international travel.
You will work closely with other departments to find ways to increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment, diagnose equipment attend breakdowns and action repairs. Attend meetings as required and be able to analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are always maintained.
- You will be working on conveyors, PLC’s, weighing systems.
- PLC experience interrogation.
- Interested in projects and controls.
- Staying away is required.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- Must have an electrical or mechanical qualification.
- Must be able to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Must be willing to stay away and travel when needed.
