We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Darwen. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a fantastic opportunity to inspire students aged 11-18 and make a real difference in their education.
About the Role:- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Contribute to the wider school community, participating in staff meetings and extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrate prior experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level (ages 11-18).
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Possess a valid, enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
- Show a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to achieving excellence in teaching and learning.
