Workshop Technician

25,000 - 33,000 per annum

Daventry (Rural location - transport essential)

Mon-Fri 8.30- 5.30 with a Saturday morning on rotation with the other workshop team during the busy months (This is normally 1 in 4 )

Our long established client, a market leading supplier in the automotive industry, is looking to recruit a Workshop Technician. This position will be based in their location just outside of Daventry, Northamptonshire and so transport is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity where our client will consider applications from candidates both with minimal experience or who have proven experience, which is reflected in the salary range.

Workshop Technician requirements:

  • Carry out servicing, repairs & inspection to the internal area of new and used Caravans, Motorhomes and Campervans
  • To fit accessories as required, such as windout awnings to the side of vehicles, solar panels, tracker systems, side bars, wheels etc
  • Carry out pre delivery inspections on our clients sold vehicles
  • Ensure a safe working environment and implement health and safety policy, systems and procedures
  • To maintain a clean and well run workshop environment

Workshop Technician requirements:

  • Possess some mechanical knowledge, be a competent DIYer or perhaps have worked in an engineering or vehicle mechanics role
  • Must be enthusiastic with a willingness to do a thorough and top quality job each and every time
  • Willing to undertake specific industry training and accreditation
