We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Driver to join our team in Byfield, Northamptonshire.
As a Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for transporting waste containers between various sites. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, ensuring you have your weekends free.
Hours: 6am starts
Pay: £14.50
Responsibilities
- Safely transport waste containers between sites using a roll on roll off vehicle
- Ensure all waste containers are properly secured and loaded onto the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and assist with any inquiries or concerns they may have
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating roll on roll off vehicles
- Knowledge of waste management and disposal regulations
- Ability to safely operate hydraulic lifting equipment and manoeuvre large waste containers
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends, if necessary
