Job Title: Temporary Credit Controller
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
Type: Temporary - Flexible hybrid working available for the right candidate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch - Other members of the finance team work 4 days a week from home
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer accounts, ensuring invoices are paid on time and overdue balances are promptly addressed.
- Accurately allocate payments in Sage 200, reconciling against bank statements.
- Maintain credit limits, payment terms, and risk classifications within Sage 200.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and maintain up-to-date records.
- Investigate and resolve payment disputes efficiently.
- Collaborate with Sales, Distribution, and Finance teams to streamline credit processes.
- Support billing, including milestones, prepayments, and card payments.
- Maintain accurate customer data and audit-compliant records in Sage 200.
What We're Looking For:
- Sage 200 expertise - beneficial but not essential
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
