About the Role:As an Electrical Launch Engineer, you will be instrumental in transitioning new programme electrical engineering content from development to operational ramp-up. Working across multiple disciplines, you will lead global issue management, conduct root cause analysis, and drive solutions for warranty and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Launch Engineer:

  • Manage launch readiness for technical electrical content, including method, material, and machine requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Perceived Quality Targets (PQT) databases.
  • Author quality validation processes and systems inclusive of build, commissioning and dynamic validation.
  • Support design reviews (PQT, DFMEA, lessons learned).
  • Conduct process validation (PFMEA, virtual builds) and establish torque/critical build databases.
  • Rapidly respond to electrical issues, including primary analysis, containment, and root cause resolution.
  • Lead global complex root cause analysis and deviation management.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement for permanent corrective actions and warranty-related challenges.
  • Support the development of troubleshooting systems and high-level quality assurance processes.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in product launches within the automotive industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering Systems and quality assurance methodologies such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments, capable of robust and objective decision-making.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork skills and the ability to deliver solutions within restricted timeframes.
