Our client is looking to recruit severalManufacturing Operators to join a friendly team within a well-established company. We are seeking motivated & driven candidates who want to learn new skills and gain new experiences to progress within their career.

  • Enhance Production Quality: Use a variety of CNC machines to produce high-quality cylinder blocks, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Contribute to Safety: Follow all Health & Safety processes rigorously, including the use of personal protective equipment and reporting any hazards or incidents to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Promote Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, communicating openly and supporting peers to achieve common production goals and improve processes.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying and implementing improvements in quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
  • Maintain Equipment and Work Area: Keep a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, and carry out planned operator care and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Achieve Production Goals: Operate manual and automated equipment efficiently to meet production targets and maintain the required cycle times, demonstrating high competency in core work skills.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) to minimize costs and manage quality exposures.
  • Engage in Personal Development: Complete required training and personal development activities to enhance skills and contribute to overall business objectives, supporting a culture of continuous learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with strong math and technical skills is required, with beneficial vocational training in CNC machining or engineering and advantageous health and safety coursework.
  • Preferred experience in operating CNC machines and producing high-quality parts, with desirable experience in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering fields, and training provided.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy, ability to follow instructions independently, proficiency with PCs or handheld terminals, and understanding of quality and safety standards.

Shifts:

Days:

7am-3pm Monday to Friday

3pm - 11pm Monday to Thursday 10.30pm finish on Friday

£26,790.43 (plus shift allowance £105)

Nights:

Sunday to Thursday

11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

£26,790.43 (plus shift allowance £157.50)
