The Finance & Accountancy Division at The ONE Group is exclusively working with a global Manufacturing and Distribution business based in Daventry to recruit an experienced FP&A Specialist. This role will be reporting directly into the CFO. The successful FP&A Specialist will be supporting the UK Leadership and Operations Team with financial planning, analysis and reporting. You will also focus on leading budgeting, performance management and provide insights to drive the business forward to achieving it's strategies.

As the FP&A Specialist, you will be responsible but not limited to: Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on financial and strategic planning with leadership
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis
  • Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasts with business unit heads
  • Influence stakeholders on targets and strategy alignment
  • Analyse financial results and recommend improvements
  • Utilise BI tools for performance insights and reporting
  • Communicate financial performance to senior management
  • Identify productivity and cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare business cases for investments and strategic decisions
  • Manage cash flow, credit policies, and supplier payments
  • Ensure compliance with Group accounting principles (IFRS) and local GAAP
  • Coordinate audits and implement internal control procedures

As the FP&A Specialist, you must demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience as a Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance management
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to challenge and influence
  • Committed, enthusiastic, and proactive
