Role: E-commerce Trading Executive reporting to the Marketing Director


Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Location: Daventry in Person

Role Purpose


To facilitate exceptional digital experiences on the brand website and other 3rd party sites, ensuring we are brand of choice for our target markets across the UK and Internationally. To drive consumer engagement, conversion and retention, developing increased revenue and managing the customer journey. Additionally, to support retailers in accessing and benefiting from digital tools.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


· Drive consumer growth through digital channels, in line with targets, including acquisition, conversion and retention and delivering incremental website revenue.
· Responsible for enhancing the website and 3rd party platforms (e.g Amazon) as needed, liaising with external suppliers, agencies and other departments if necessary and ensuring compliance with legislation.
· To use data and analytics to enhance performance and effectiveness, maximizing results and building increased effectiveness to improve key metrics such as CPA, ROAS, AOV, CTR, ATC.
· Understand and leverage the consumer journey from first click through all digital and physical touch points and develop methods to increase conversion rates.
· To ensure the website connects with other systems efficiently and identify areas for improvement.
· Develop engaging site content to drive traffic and customer action.
· Work closely with the PR and comms team to ensure campaigns align.
· Complement SEO work with targeted paid activity through PPC and display advertising, avoiding the acquisition of customers who are already buying through other channels
· Increase the consumer database and develop mechanics to encourage consumers to sign up
· Manage the email marketing process, including planning, briefing, amendments, testing, sign off and deployment, improving engagement and conversion.
· Brief design team as needed for graphics and other digital assets.
· Regularly report on performance against targets and opportunities for growth including web stats and other market data.
· Acquire and present insight into ecommerce and digital marketing trends, keeping abreast of new and emerging strategies.
· Competitor analysis where required, sharing details internally of other brands' digital activity.
· Ensure all operations conform to data regulations (E.g GDPR).
· To develop best practice documents which can be shared with retailers and to present as needed at conferences and events.

General
· Support Directors and Managers as needed in day-to-day projects.
· Communicate effectively with the management, technical and sales team, including effective diary management.
· Ensure that all paper/electronic records are dealt with in line with GDPR Regulations.
· Attend any training courses that are deemed necessary.
· Any other tasks that a manager or colleague ask you to undertake.
· Provide cover for other duties in case of sickness or annual leave.

Experience & Qualifications

· 3-5 years previous ecommerce experience working within a B2C product led function.
· Experience working with the Amazon platform and Shopify
· Demonstrable success in implementing digital marketing concepts, paid and organic social media management and best practices.
· An understanding of SEO and PPC and how to report on performance using Google tools.
· Experience working with email marketing tools and CMS systems e.g hubspot, Klavio
· Broad understanding of marketing communications
· Higher education
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
