Dunbar Education is looking for a committed English Teacher to join one of our excellent secondary schools in Daventry on a long-term or permanent contract. If you're an engaging educator looking to make a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 desirable).
- Support students in building confidence and a strong foundation in literacy.
- Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress.
- Create a positive and structured learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum development.
Requirements:
- An English Teacher with at least 6 months of UK classroom experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
