The Company
You will be working for an M&E contractor that is a family business has been formed over 50 years ago with a national presence. This client works with a variety of different of clients, however in more recently focused more on projects public sector related typically on new large scale projects. The organisation provides offers services which include; mechanical design, installation and maintenance.

The Role
- You will prepare mechanical estimates for time, cost, materials, schedule of rates and labour.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and other personnel and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Prepare mechanical estimates and prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Meet the client as necessary to discuss their requirements and advise accordingly.
- You will send out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Take-off the drawings and input into Estimation software.
- Carry out an analysis of received quotations to ensure the equipment / specialist is compliant with the tender information.
- Complete a tender analysis including preliminary costs.
The Candidate
You will need to come from a Mechanical or HVAC background within Building Services or similar. Though is preferable to have experience in Mechanical Estimation, other related backgrounds are also highly considered e.g. Mechanical Design.
Preferably you will have worked for another leading M&E sub contractors before.
