Position: Support Assistant - Psychology Degree Holder
Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Part-Time)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual with a Psychology degree to take on the role of Support Assistant. This position involves providing assistance and companionship to an individual with specific needs, offering a great opportunity to apply psychological knowledge in a practical context. As a Support Assistant, your key responsibilities include:

  • Accompanying the individual on various outings and travel as their Support Assistant
  • Assisting with the use of technology, including a smartphone, in your capacity as a Support Assistant
  • Supporting meal preparation and cooking activities as their Support Assistant
  • Recording daily activities and observations using an Apple Mac computer, fulfilling your role as a Support Assistant
  • Encouraging participation in physical activities and supporting cognitive tasks to aid memory and mental engagement, all while serving as a Support Assistant
