Our client manufacturer specialist equipment and have a firm stance in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Due to team expansion, they are now seeking a dependable and skilled hands on Installation Engineer to work on projects throughout the UK and Europe. Main responsibilities:
  • Carry out the manufacturing and assembly of the companys products in accordance with production drawings and specifications.
  • Piping fabrication and assembly.
  • Panel wiring.
  • Carry out the on-site installation of new equipment and refurbishment projects.
  • Working to set timescale's and to the expected high-quality standards.
  • Identify and report defects or shortfalls in raw materials as well as components that are likely to cause delays in the production / project process.
  • Identify and report opportunities to reduce production / project costs and timescale's.
  • Maintain accurate documentary evidence of works processes carried out in accordance with the companys Quality Management System.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Electrical assembly, panel wiring techniques.
  • Sound electro / mechanical knowledge or time served in a practical role that could offer transferable skills.
  • Ability to understand and work from schematic drawings.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of basic assembly techniques including crimping, wiring, press fit jointing etc.
  • Ability to use a range of hand tools (drilling, tapping, cutting etc).
  • Competent user of IT and computer equipment
  • Willing to undertake professional development training as required.
