Installation Engineer (Electro / Mechanical)
- Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 08:00 16:30, Friday 08:00 13:00
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

Our client manufacturer specialist equipment and have a firm stance in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Due to team expansion, they are now seeking a dependable and skilled hands on Installation Engineer to work on projects throughout the UK and Europe. Main responsibilities:
- Carry out the manufacturing and assembly of the companys products in accordance with production drawings and specifications.
- Piping fabrication and assembly.
- Panel wiring.
- Carry out the on-site installation of new equipment and refurbishment projects.
- Working to set timescale's and to the expected high-quality standards.
- Identify and report defects or shortfalls in raw materials as well as components that are likely to cause delays in the production / project process.
- Identify and report opportunities to reduce production / project costs and timescale's.
- Maintain accurate documentary evidence of works processes carried out in accordance with the companys Quality Management System.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Electrical assembly, panel wiring techniques.
- Sound electro / mechanical knowledge or time served in a practical role that could offer transferable skills.
- Ability to understand and work from schematic drawings.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of basic assembly techniques including crimping, wiring, press fit jointing etc.
- Ability to use a range of hand tools (drilling, tapping, cutting etc).
- Competent user of IT and computer equipment
- Willing to undertake professional development training as required.
