Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical skills and appreciation.
- Prepare students for music exams and performances.
- Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and school productions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and school events.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification and has experience teaching music at the secondary level.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
- Possesses strong classroom management skills.
- Is creative, enthusiastic, and able to inspire students.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
