Role Overview
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality interventions to support residents with complex physical and neurological conditions. Your focus will be on fostering independence, enhancing occupational engagement, and developing meaningful participation.
As a clinical leader, you will supervise and consult with the multidisciplinary team, showcasing advanced expertise in areas such as environmental adaptation, skill development, and person-centred care planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments and planning tailored interventions.
- Deliver and evaluate evidence-based treatments aligned with individual care plans.
- Provide expert guidance and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
- Apply advanced clinical reasoning to drive positive outcomes.
- Promote occupational therapy best practices and innovation within the service.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Significant post-qualification experience, including work with individuals with complex physical and neurological needs.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy frameworks, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Proven clinical reasoning and leadership skills.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
