Appoint Healthcare is proud to collaborate with a leading national provider of health and social care services to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist. This role is based at their specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Role Overview
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality interventions to support residents with complex physical and neurological conditions. Your focus will be on fostering independence, enhancing occupational engagement, and developing meaningful participation.

As a clinical leader, you will supervise and consult with the multidisciplinary team, showcasing advanced expertise in areas such as environmental adaptation, skill development, and person-centred care planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments and planning tailored interventions.
  • Deliver and evaluate evidence-based treatments aligned with individual care plans.
  • Provide expert guidance and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, including work with individuals with complex physical and neurological needs.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy frameworks, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
  • Proven clinical reasoning and leadership skills.
